Tsubasa Chronicles

I definitely enjoyed watching each episode of Tsubasa Chronicles. I was a big fan of Cardcaptor Sakura and it’s one of the animes I watched in my childhood and remember fondly now. It’s great to be reunited with some of those characters, in a sense.

Even though I kind of missed Sakura and Shaoran’s love-hate relationship in Cardcaptor Sakura, I look at their relationship in Tsubasa Chronicles as more of a mature one (even though I did miss the petty jealousies part, although ever present in Touya’s character).

Tomoyo barely had enough screen time to satisfy me. The added characters, Fai, Kuragane, and last but certainly not the least, Mokona, gave great vibes. It certainly was an intriguing story line, and would have made for a completely excellent series, if not for absolutely indefinite ending.

I would have loved to see a happy ending for them all, and not see their efforts and time, nor mine, wasted. I hope the manga satisfies me a little bit better.

Plastic Memories: the feels

I absolutely enjoyed watching Plastic Memories, and I am really really really hoping to see a second season, SOON!

The ending has a lot of feels, and I felt like crying, but I didn’t quite cry. I guess I don’t want to believe the sad episode.

After all, Isla’s mantra is a hopeful one:

I hope, one day, that you will be reunited with the one you cherish.

It was a beautiful scene: Isla’s life ended while they were on a ferris wheel and while kissing Tsukasa. I have a lot of hopes for the anime’s and the manga’s future story line. I am sure that I won’t be disappointed.

If your life is lacking some feels, try and watch Plastic Memories. I hope you have as much or more fun as I did.
