  • Doctors starring Park Shin Hye, Kim Rae Won, Lee Sung Kyung, Yoon Gyun Sang

I’m not very sure whether this include a romance plot between the two yet.. but any drama starring Park Shin Hye keeps my toes tapping in anticipation!

From what I’ve read about it and seen from the first two episodes – it does look like there will be a romance plot.

How exciting! Personally, I’m very interested considering the two are both in my two most favorite K-Drama couples (Lee Jong Seok & Park Shin Hye, replaced my former most favorite Lee Seung Gi and Han Hyo Joo)

Great trailers can be found on the drama’s AsianWiki page.

Starting on July 20, 2016, Wed-Thu

Perfect! I actually feel like I’m betraying my Darling couple because I love these two together! LJS has the art of chemistry-on-screen down!

  • Cinderella and Four Knights, starring Jung Il Woo, Ahn Jae Hyun, Lee Jung Shin, & Park So Dam

I’m so excited! I love Jung Il Woo in this chaebol characters, and Ahn Jae Hyun would be perfect too! Now, I feel like wishing Gu Hye Sun was playing the Jan Di again. I hope Park So Dam is good enough…

Rich flower boys? One female lead? Yes, pleaseeee!

Park So Dam is great!

Image result for jealousy incarnate

The universal leading actress is back with a vengeance – this is going to be so good! I can hardly wait – but what about my last semester of college?!

Halfway through the first episode, and I already know it’s going to be great!!!!!

I’m so glad I get to see Lee Joon Gi in a historical drama again. And doubtless, he will not fail to form an undeniable chemistry with the beautiful IU.

Another classic brought by our beloved Joon Ki-oppa, and sweet and beautiful IU.

I haven’t seen Song Ji Hyo since Emergency Couple and I’ve missed her… here’s hoping she has great chemistry with Lee Sun Kyun as she had with Choi Jin Hyuk!

  • Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo, starring Lee Sung Kyung and Nam Joo Hyuk

Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo-a00.jpg

This would be so good – I knew it wouldn’t take long for these two to get to be the leads 🙂 Here’s hoping for a super romantic plot. Oh, what a beautiful sight.. I just be might be more excited for this than for LMH’s new show coming on the same month!

I’m looking forward to this even more after aching for him in Scarlet Heart. I hope this time, tragedy doesn’t come his way.

I’m so excited and I can’t wait…. just a few more days now!

Coming in November 16, 2016, Wed-Thu 10pm (KST) slot

  • The Legend of the Blue Sea, starring Lee Min Ho and Jun Ji Hyun

  • Goblin, starring Gong Yoo

The trailers are out, and it just makes me so excited to see the all-star cast!

This particular trailer doesn’t have Gong Yoo, but it’s funny

Coming in December 2, 2016 Fri-Sat 8pm (KST) slot

Related post: I love you, Goblin.

  • Seven First Kisses, starring Lee Jong Seok, Lee Min Ho, Taecyeon, Lee Joon Gi, Ji Chang Wook, Park Hae Jin, EXO Kai, and Choi Ji Woo

And yes, I purposely left out her name out of spite. I don’t know whether to be excited or not that this is coming out on Monday, Dec. 5. This is too much. I don’t even know who I will root for. I will probably end up rooting for EXO Kai for the male lead because he’s the only one I’m willing to give up to the female lead. Sorry, I’m not sorry.

  • Hwarang, starring Go Ara

Hopefully it’s good. Seems to be full of beautiful stars – I can’t wait to see Go Ara again after You’re All Surrounded (opposite Lee Seung Gi)

Starts on December 19, 2016, Mon-Tue 10pm (KST) slot

  • Saimdang, Light’s Diary, starring Lee Young Ae and Song Seung Hoon

Oooh, how exciting! Lee Young Ae’s comeback historical drama. I thought the Jewel in the Palace would never come back to our small screens. Such a classic beauty, I was a fan even back when I was just mildly entertained by rather than obssessed to Kdramas.

Coming in January 2017, Wed-Thu 10pm (KST) slot

  • Tomorrow With You, starring Shin Min Ah

Tomorrow With You-a00.jpg

Anytime the beautiful Shin Min Ah is back on screen is very welcome!

Coming on February 3, 2017

  • My Sassy Girl, starring Joo Won and Oh Yeon Seo

I’ve never really watched any of Joo Won’s shows, but I guess I’ll give in to this one because I’m curious to see Oh Yeon Seo in a female role (she’s unforgettable in Please Come Back, Mister – she had great chemistry with Rain even though she’s supposed to be playing a man, but she was still convincing in a masculine role). She showed some of her sassiness in Please Come Back, Mister so I’m sure this is a perfect role for her!

Coming in 2017

  • The Package, starring Lee Yeon Hee and Jung Yong Hwa

File:The Package-tp00.jpg

Sounds like an interesting plot… and quite an ensemble.

I hope they make it good…

Coming in 2017

  • Ruler: Master of the Mask, starring Yoo Seung Ho & Kim So Hyun, and L

Exciting!! This two would look so great onscreen!

UPDATE: L will be joining the cast! Oh no, another second male lead role? Annndwaae! I still remember watching him play second fiddle to Rain’s character in Krystal’s Oh My Lovable Girl.

I did want to watch this one and don’t remember when I stopped watching – I think I just wasn’t in the mood for something heavy and political, and in general for historical dramas at the time… and even though the two looked pretty onscreen together, I have to admit there was something lacking the chemistry department.

  • While You Were Sleeping, starring Lee Jong Seok & Bae Suzy

It seems JongSeok-oppa will be very busy in the coming year! Currently, Suzy is in line to play the female lead. Whoever his lead turns out to be, I have no doubt that the  chemistry will be there – he surely made it work with Han Hyo Joo and Park Shin Hye. He is just way too charming and believable so all his female leads probably fall in love, even just slightly, with him on set.

UPDATE: Suzy is confirmed to be the female lead! I’m so excited. They both have such great looks. It would have been interesting if Kim Woo Bin was cast as the second male lead because of the popular bromance between him and LJS.

Coming in 2017, Wed-Thu 10pm (KST) slot

  • Man to Man, starring Park Hae Jin & Park Sung Woong

Honestly, Park Hae Jin is cool and all, but I’m more excited to see Park Sung Woong back. He was so cool in Yoo Seung Ho’s Remember

  • Devious Twenty, starring Lee Yoo Bi and Lee Jong Hyun

I’m so excited… these beautiful face deserve leading roles. Lee Yoo Bi didn’t produce quite an earthshattering chemistry with Lee Joon Ki, in their previous drama together, The Scholar Who Walks the Night (especially fading in comparison to his chemistry with IU) but I hope things work out better when she is paired with Orange Marmalade‘s beloved second male lead, Lee Jong Hyun.

Coming in 2017

Sadly, from what I’ve heard through the grapevine, this show has been canceled…
